The other day in Target I saw someone wearing a mask. Same deal while antiquing. Most people have given up on wearing masks but not everyone has and another pandemic could be right around the corner. Which is why I’m glad that we haven’t stopped innovating them. And we could now have a new solution to the major problem involving masks. The fact that no one wants to wear one. The solution? An invisible face mask that blows air away from us forming a protective air bubble around us in the process.
Brighter Side News explains:
“Picture a cap equipped with a built-in fan blowing air in front of your face. This isn’t a joke but a novel innovation. Through advanced simulations of virus particle spread, an international team devised a simple, cost-effective solution significantly reducing airborne virus transmission risk.
More effective than traditional face masks, this concept redirects airflow away from the user, surpassing mask efficacy.
With partial face coverage, the device enhances social interaction, particularly vital in healthcare settings like operating theaters, where clear, swift communication is paramount.
Its applications extend beyond virus containment, serving diverse environments like offices, schools, and public transport, safeguarding everyone from surgeons to individuals routinely exposed to dust and micro-particles.”
Not only would a invisible face mask be more effective, it would also be more comfortable to wear and less stifling making it more likely to be used. I sincerely hope we never need to wear a mask ever again but if we do I would want to use something like this.
Is an invisible face mask the Greatest Idea Ever?
